If it doesn’t exist on the first page of google it’s not there, right? Wrong! There are plenty of websites that are fun and productive that most of us don’t know about. In this post I have tried to collect some of them that might prove to be useful or plain fun for you to explore.

10. Uncyclopedia
This is the contender of Encyclopedia but the only thing that is different is the content itself. All the content and information you will find here are nonsense that are put forward with a straight face. If you are looking for facts and figures this certainly isn’t an option but if you are in need of hours of fun go ahead and check it out.

9. EXPN
No, it’s not ESPN. The ‘S’ is replaced by ‘X’ as it stands for Extreme. This site covers the dangerous aspects of sports, such as skating, surfing, motorcross and X Games. You can also find photos and videos of death defying stunts along with the sports column.

8. Bargainist
Who doesn’t love a good bargain? This site is updated several times daily which searches the web for daily deals, coupons and bargains to get you those goodies for cheap. Also you can find links to over 50 retailers and online stores where you can get a bargain.

7. Ustream
This service allows you to present your videos on the web while it is being recorded, live. All you need is a webcam, a PC and an internet connection and you will be on your way to producing videos live. There is plenty to watch on this site but be careful you never know what kind of footage you will come across.

6. Uncov
Sort of like techcrunch but a blog written by a potty mouthed software nerd. You will find reviews that are merciless and some quite juicy Silicon Valley rumors. This blog explores deep into the web apps and exposes the sloppy programming and faulty business models that most of the time us users don’t know or don’t care about.

5. Hard To Find 800 Numbers
We all know it’s a hassle to get the customer service rep. on the phone. The call and then the wait, it just seems like forever. And to make it worse most of the times they make it even harder to find those 800 numbers. No Problem, go ahead and use this service to find the 800 numbers for most businesses, atleast one hassle will be taken care of.

4. Retail Me Not
This service can be very useful if you love to use coupons while shopping online. You can find coupons from hundreds of online stores and companies that are listed here. So next time you head to buy something online make sure to stop by here, chances are you will find something that will take 5-10% off your purcahse.

3. GasBuddy
This service allows you to check the gas prices before you head out the door. All you need to do is enter your zip code and this service will tell you what the prices are for the day. It will also comapre different gas stations in your area so you can see which one has got the best deal for you, Sweet!

2. Animoto
Who doesn’t love a movie trailers like video for themselves? This service allows you to create a trailer like video using your images. All you need to do is upload you images and choose a music from their gallery or add your own. Animoto’s smart software then take cares of the rest and you will see your images grooving along the music. A must use.

This service allows you to voice your opinion or frustration towards companies and businesses. If you can’t find the 800 number using the above service just go ahead and use this service to let your anger out. Sometimes its just best to let it out somewhere and this gives you that option.
