A domain name is an investment which is sometimes also referred to as the internet real estate. A valuable domain name can drive a lot of potential customer to a business. For instance, if you had a business selling computers your ideal domain name would be http://www.computer.com/.

But in todays domain market most of the good domains are already taken and the only way to get them is to buy from their current owners. the owners have no specific guidelines for pricing these domain names. This is where DNScoop comes in handy. This handy website provides you with all the info you need to know before buying a domain name from the owner. Information includes Google Pagerank, number of links, age of the domain name ( older the better ), search engine popularity and also how much it is worth.

To check the information and domain names worth simply go to http://www.dnscoop.com/ and type in the domain name and click check it and you should be able to get all the information related to that particular domain name.

Also for fun you can type in yahoo.com or google.com and see what they are worth. You will blow away your mind when you see it, Trust me!

Domain Leasing Service

It is no surprise that prime domains have all been either registered or cost thousands to acquire from current owners. Many businesses can thrive using domain names that are already established or suite their business due to the keyword popularity associated with these domain names. For several years the only way to get these domain names if they werent available was to acquire it from current owners who could easily ask any price they wanted depending on how important the name was for the buyer.

Finally, Leasethis.com a new service incorporated in 2006 provides website owners and businesses with the flexibility of leasing/renting a domain name for a fee each month from their current owners. Leasethis.com currently lists more than 534,000 domains in their online inventory and 3.5 million domains in their offline inventory available for lease. The cost per month for domains start as little as $20 per month to several thousand, with an option to lease to own.

If you are looking for a domain name that suits your business and isnt available this service might be the answer.
