Google’s newest acquisition rocks!
I had known for a couple days about google’s new acquisition but haven’t had time to get around and check it out. I finally did and I love what I am seeing and I thought of sharing this with my readers.
Google has just added Grandcentral to its portfolio, a site that lets you forward calls to all your phones ( landlines, cell phones, VOIP ) through one number.

Here is a description of how this service works: When you open an account at Grandcentral.com you are assigned a unique number based on your area code. After this step you provide grandcentral all of the numbers that you can be reached at , land lines, cell phones, VOIP, etc. Now you are rady to roll. You can give all your contacts this one number provided by Grandcentral.com and you can have your land lines, cell phones, internet phones and even your gijmo project client, or all of the above ringing - simulataneously.
While your caller is waiting for you to answer your call, Grandcentral plays a standard ring tune but if you choose you can upload mp3 files to soothe your callers ears as well. Neat! Also if you prefer not to answer one of these calls Grandcentral forwards these calls to a voice mail that can be accessed via the website or your email. Also the neatest of all you can also hear the incoming voice mail on your phone while they are being recorded.
This is a great service and since it is tied with google it is going to get better day by day. You will never miss a call with this service, whether at home or road, in your office or anywhere that you have access to any type of phone that you have provided the number to Grandcentral.Awesome service and once again google keeps it free.
