TechSmith is currently offering Camtasia and SnagIt for free. These two softwares are a bloggers friend so if you don’t already have them, go ahead and secure them right away. These are full versions and not just trial copies, so rush to the scene.

The usual price for camtasia is $299.00 and SnagIt $29.00.

Last night while I was stumbling pages on stumbleupon is when I came across this site. This is was one of the easy finds as I wasn’t specifically looking for something to write about and there it was, grabbing my attention - 360 Desktop.

This is one awesome idea that lets you expand your desktop space. Think for a moment, You have two word documents and three excel document open and a web browser as well and you are working with all of them and you dont want to minimize any one, this is where this software is going to help. With 360 desktop you get a desktop that you can move around all the way round. You can have all the windows open and move from one to another by simply moving your mouse as the desktop will move with you.

To make it easier think of a product that you can view all the way around ( 360 degree ). Same principle but for your desktop space. Honestly, I just dont have the words to describe this software so please do this program justice by visiting the site and watch the video that shows this application in action, watch 360 Desktop in action

The software is currently in beta so if you want to try it out go ahead and signup for beta and try it out. This looks to be very promising and interesting.

I am a huge ebay fan, there isn’t a day that passes by without me looking into ebay and finally buying or bidding on something. For all ebay addicts like me this software will prove to be a gold in a coal mine.

Nabit is a software which lets you enjoy ebay without ever having to open your browser.This application sits on your system tray quietly until there has been a change in your bidding or buying status. When you have been outbidded in an auction Nabit shows a pop up alert to notify you. Nabit lets you track all of your bids in one simple application which saves time as you don’t have to follow through different steps on ebay.

It tracks all the changes in your ebay account for an auction you are bidding on, when you are outbidded, if the price changes, if the auction has expired and so forth without you having to open the browser. Also you can bid on items using this application as well, one more great feature.

Here is another great information this Thursday for all Mac users. This software I am writing will allow you to import your del.icio.us bookmarks into Safari.

Sharing bookmarks between Safari and del.icio.us is not as easy as it is with firefox but it is certainly doable. delicious2Safari is a free lighweight desktop application that can organize imported bookmarks into your folders based on your del.icio.us tags.

Some of the features of this program:

• Import your bookmarks as a flat list or let this program organize them into folder
• Choose where you want to download, Bookmarks Bar, Bookmarks Menu, Safari Bookmarks

I have had many readers comment on my post that it would be great to see some of the applications for Mac. So to bring information to Mac readers on Mac applications and softwares I am making Thursday an Official Mac Day here at Work N Play.

NeoOffice has integrated dozens of native Mac features and can import, edit and exchange files with popular programs like MS Office.

• Uses Mac OS X fonts
