Discover The Secrets To Success
Success to some can come easy and to some it’s years and years of hard work. Sometimes the best thing that can motivate us towards reaching our goals can be as simple as words by someone else. The other day I picked up an old book ” Jump Start Your Brain ” by Doug Hall. Although old the the content in the text is something we can apply forever. As I was reading I came across some quotes that might be just the thing we need to discover the secrets to success. Although simple, these quotes provide very powerful meaning and insight and what we should do in order to reach the peak of success.
All quotes by Richard Saunders
Every shot you don’t take is a guaranteed miss
This one is a no brainer. If you have an idea make sure to put it in action. If you take a shot, it’s either a hit or a miss. If you don’t, it’s a guaranteed miss.
Put that idea in paper and in action, trust me, with determination you will get where you want.
When familiar people try to solve familiar problems, they tend to develop familiar solutions
You want to be a one man army? Fine! But sometimes the best way to get things done and find a solution is to team up with people that are passionate about your idea and work together. Come on now, you can share a little bit of that money by partnering up, can’t you? ( by the way, I am available
). Go ahead and find somebody to work with you, two minds are better than one and four eyes will certainly see better than two.
Whenever you think you have the answer to a problem, be greedy and reach for one more. Odds are, the next one will be even bigger
Well, I guess being greedy sometimes pays off. If you come up with a solution to a problem find solutions that are even better than the one’s before. The first solution could yield you 5 clients but if you ponder a little more may be the next one will gain you 10.
Simplicity is the essence of Brilliance
Why do you think every webmaster and designer stresses so much on the ease of navigation? Because simplicity in use is the key to make anything work. So provide great service and product while being simple. Think of google!
If you don’t believe, you won’t achieve
Have faith in yourself. If you think an idea won’t succeed, think over again. It’s an idea and you haven’t done anything with it yet. Believe in yourself and go for it.
Linear line on paper lead to linear ideas. Wicked good ideas come from coloring outside and across lines
Think outside the box. Be adventurous. If it hasn’t been done before it probably will succeed for the exact same reason “ It hasn’t been done before. “ And if it doesn’t, you atleast know instead of wondering forever whether or not it would have worked.
And finally,
It’s not possible to thank people enough for their efforts. Nothing motivates more effectively than the overt, emotional, unconditional feedback of an honest thank –you. Whether it’s a child, a friend, an employee, or a boss, an emotional thank – you works miracles
I think these quotes are something we could all live by while reaching out towards our goals. They are simple yet provide very powerful ways to motivate you in one way or the other.
What do you think? I find these quotes very motivating and a great source of boost, atleast for me. What’s your thoughts? Share with us!

Insightful post Ritu. I like how you supplemented your post with those quotes. If we bloggers abide by these quotes, I think success is inevitable. Also, where do you find your pictures? They are pretty sweet!
Quan,
I find these quotes to be something we can apply in whatever we do, whether its blogging, business or something else.
You can find free pictures through various sites like Flickr and there are some that you don’t have to credit. You can google something like ” copyright free images ” and get some links from there.
“You’ll always miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.” –Wayne Gretzky
I like that better than the version you have.
Fiar,
Thanks for adding one more. I love to read quotes and at times it is amazing how much just one sentence can convey
