Explore websites from a different perspective
Wouldn’t it be wonderful to search for a particular website from its starting point and see what is going on into the inner system of that website? It sure would.
Walk2web lets you do exactly that. What this service does is it lets you search for a particular website from its starting point. You simply type in the website name and you will be taken to a page. Initially the starting point will be the websites name and the website is connected to six nodes, three shows outgoing links and the other three will show incoming links. Now you can see all the links this website has, both inbound and outbound. When you hover your pointer over these links a website preview is shown on the right side which gives you an idea or preview where this particular site is linking or who is linking to it. And you can click on these site to see what kind of sites are linking to them.
Very nifty web application. Great resource for webmasters. Also on the homepage this site provides you with a code which you can add into your blog or website and it will show some of the coolest sites in a small window like a presentation. If your users like what they are seeing all they need to do is click on it and they will be taken to the page where they can find more information on that website.

i. Pretty cool. I clicked on the icon and went to walk2web. I registered but then I couldn’t really see anything else to do. There were no tabs or drop down places to view. So, what is the point of registering, so I know. I am not very technical. Where did you get the widget? Perhaps I missed something?
Actually after you type in your web address you will be taken to a page which will show 6 nodes, 3 for incoming and 3 for outgoing links. On the left bottom there are arrown which you can just put your pointer to move around. It gives you an insight and preview of sites that you are linked to on the right side.
