Get Camtasia and SnagIt - FREE
TechSmith is currently offering Camtasia and SnagIt for free. These two softwares are a bloggers friend so if you don’t already have them, go ahead and secure them right away. These are full versions and not just trial copies, so rush to the scene.
The usual price for camtasia is $299.00 and SnagIt $29.00.

THis is BS - they are not FREE programs at all, just trialware. Obviously a comemrcial blog, ie, SPAM!

Seems like you didn’t read the whole post as I had suggested. The post clearly states that they will give you a trial copy and you will receive the license key via email. I am pretty sure you will get the key in email, that is if you read the entire post that I had linked to and do what needs to be done.

I have used the license keys that Techsmith supplied and can confirm for Anon’s benefit that they are full versions, just not the current versions.

Ian and Ritu: you both are right on.
Just follow the directions; there is no catch.
Of course they will offer Upgrades, but they are not mandatory nor required to utlilize the fr*ee downloads.
As stated, these downloads are just not the most RECENT versions, however they should be fine for most of us, and are for me. But if NOT, then one might want to consider the upgrades (which are offered at a very attractive discount thru the links provided…and probably not available thru a regular search for the products…but am not 100% sure about that tho’.)
