It’s Official — I No Longer Grasp What’s Cool
Stick a fork in me I’m done…The train has left the station…Obi-Wan Kenobi forgot to turn off the tractor beam. Whichever saying you use, you can attach it to my understanding of what’s cool with the kids these days. In my time, it was all Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Thundercats, and Transformers. Was it silly? Yes, of course it was. But even today I can still appreciate those shows and actually watch them from time to time.
I wonder if kids will be able to do the same thing when they look back on Fred Figglehorn. Apparently, this kid won a Teen Choice Award on Nickelodeon. It’s not even that I hate the videos, I’m just at a loss for words. Spongebob I understand, Pokemon I understand, but Fred Figglehorn? Perhaps you can tell me if I’m missing something by watching these videos. I literally want to comprehend why people like these.

This is something the liberal mind is unable to grasp, the point is just way to complex for them. You have to simplify all requests for comparisons to identifying one trait as red and the other as blue.

It’s hard for me to fathom the depth behind that show as well. But like jmac said, it does deal with some issues lot of today’s teens face so it may have some value.

I love any show that projects present day scenarios and circumstances young people deal with. There is always going to be somewhat of a generation gap playing a role though.

I feel like this a symptom of several other issues and maybe I just don’t know enough about the case, but where were the teachers? I mean c’mon, we all remember crap happening in school and wondering are the teacher’s blind?

I do not know whether it’s just me or if perhaps everyone else experiencing problems with your blog. It appears as if some of the text in your content are running off the screen. certainly like your web site however you need to take a look at the spelling on several of your posts. Several of them are rife with spelling problems and I to find it very troublesome to tell the reality on the other hand I will surely come again again.
