ListBums - Create Lists, Share, Generate Traffic

You may have noticed most all media, technology, even household tasks are represented in “listsâ€. Top ten, bottom 10, best 50 or “to doâ€â€¦lists.
ListBums is a community driven online multimedia platform where people can share information that combines text, photos and videos in an easy to read list format. Taking YouTube to the next level, ListBum users mix information on topics of interest, current events or breaking news stories and illustrate their points with embedded videos and pictures from all over the web. The user experience is both engaging and entertaining as lists are posted, shared, rated, added to and commented on by other ListBummers.
ListBum multimedia lists can be embedded onto your blog, website or favorite social networking site. Without redirecting viewers to listbums.com, readers can view content, add list items and rate lists directly from third party websites.
Not only do lists allow your viewers to interact with your site, but building content on listbums.com can effectively promote and drive traffic to your website. New, popular and top rated lists are featured on high traffic pages via the homepage and menu buttons.
I joined the site and created a list to show you an example of their useful widget( Cilick to activate the widget ).
I was able to easily customize the colors of this list to match my site. The embed code, along with the color changer, is located at the bottom of each list. Also if you look on top of each individual posts on the list you can see the number of times it has been viewed and the clicks it has generated. I have certainly gotten some traffic through this list already. 
If you don’t have time to make your own list, you can browse through hundreds of other informative, funny, and entertaining lists found on the More Lists or Rated Lists page.
Personally, I am loving this site. It has great lists created by other “bums” and some are quite funny. Although still in Beta, I couldn’t find a lot of problems while using this site and if there are any I didn’t find them hampering my experience at all.
So go ahead and create a list, share them and generate traffic!

Ha, I just came from reading http://www.othercrap.com and there are lists from listbums.com on his page almost daily. I’ve been enjoying their content. Thanks for the info….
glad you guys liked it! I find the service pretty useful in terms of drawing traffic. The site is still young but it sure does have potential and it is growing.
The best way to draw traffic is to join these sites that are slowly emerging so you can establish yourself. When new users join you are already there so there is a high chance of getting visits from them.
Listbums surely is a good option for drawing traffic and entertainment.

This website is going to be the next big thing. It is youtube meets facebook. And who doesn’t like competing against friends to see who can be funnier? Brilliant!!!!!

If it’s just a widget on myspace then you wouldn’t be able to browse through hundreds of great lists and you woudn’t have the community driven content that is evolving on listbums. MySpace isn’t about lists! ListBums is!
@ Gabe - we all have our own opinion. Personally, I like the site and it does have potential.
@ obiddle - Some of the lists on listbums are really funny. I have been enjoying the site.
