Sometimes You Just Have To Let It Go…
Never thought I would do this. I had plans, big plans, when it comes to this blog. I have never been as passionate about writing before I started Work N Play and I will always be. I have found a way to express myself and the way I think because of this one blog.
So What’s Up?
Well, you guys must be wondering what the heck am I talking about. I have decided to put this blog up for sale. Yeah, its as much of a surprise to me as it is to you because I had never thought of doing this. But due to some family emergency and financial problem I am going to have to let it go. I will be putting it for sale on sitepoint in about 2-3 days. I just wanted to quick give you guys a heads up on what’s going on and to see if anybody here is interested.
I have nobody or nothing to blame when it comes to my decision on selling Work N Play. I have been able to manage time and have effectively ran this blog ( I would like to think ) but as the title says it all , sometimes you just got to let it go. Due to some family emergencies I am going to have to let my one and only blog go for now. I will still be active in writing at other sites as a contributing writer. As of now you can find me writing at Freelance Folder and every once in a while at Lifehack.org and Anywired.com. I am going to continue to explore other ways.
I would like to thank all the readers and friends for staying with me and supporting me for this long. If any of you guys are interested in buying this blog please use the contact form to contact me with the price you have in mind.

A Little Bit More
You can see more information on backlinks and such at Dnscoop. Once you get to the site please type in “worknplay.net” and hit “check itâ€, Do not hit enter! It gives you more indepth analysis on different factors like backlinks, age of domain name, etc. so might be worth checking it out.
If you are interested in buying Work N Play please contact me with your offer. If I get a favorable offer I wont be putting it up on sitepoint but if I don’t, I have no other choice. I hope to see you guys around on other blogs where I write. Till then all I can say is Thank You for everything. It’s been a great journey and thanks for accompanying while it lasted.
I will help the new owner with the transition and will also help in writing posts if help is needed for a while.
This blog has a lot of potential and the community that revolves around it is very active as you know it. Also besides the blog itself, the domain name ” worknplay.net ” is pretty valuable as when I first started this blog I had couple offers for it. But like I said, I had plans for this blog and never thought it would go this way.
Where Can You Find Me?
I would really like to keep in touch with all you wonderful readers and friends.Besides other blogs that I have been writing, I also have a new site which serves as my freelance service site and I will also be writing their from time to time. If you have enjoyed your stay at Work N Play, I can assure you, you will love the new site and blog even more. I will put up a post on here once the site is ready and will keep you updated on how the sale is coming along as well.
It has been great writing here at Work N Play. I hate to see it go and had never thought I would do this but due to some unexpected circumstances this is my only choice. You guys rock and without you this blog would have never gotten where it is now.
Thanks once again and hope to see you guys around over at my new site ( I will put up a post in a few days with a link to the new site and also update how the sale is coming through ).
P.S. If you have any questions feel free use the comments section for your questions. You can also email me at email(at)ritubpant(dot)com. If you have an offer please email me with your offer.

Sorry to hear about the blog sale, Ritu. I hope everything works out with your family and you are able to get a nice sum of money for your blogging efforts. You’ve done a great job of building this site up in just a few months - it’s good to hear you aren’t giving up writing entirely!
dang . . . sorry to hear this Ritu. One of the first blogs I really started reading was yours. The person who buys it will get a great foundation though! I’ll be keeping track of your musings, you can count on it.
you know i’ll be in contact with you! I haven’t forgotten your question in the email either. I will respond to it when I think of something clever.
Hey Ritu, there are great things coming your way, I know for sure I will be following you (well in fact I have to hehe, and it’s a pleasure).
Good luck with the sale man, I hope you get a really nice amount (just hit me up if there’s anything or if you need advice, you know the address
)
Keep us posted!
Cheers
@ Krista : I never thought I would sell this blog either but there are other things coming up and its been keeping me busy. Besides I have some things within my family which is requiring quite a bit of my time and committment.
I could never give up writing. This blog has really helped me come out and write about things I am passionate about.
@ turtie : I sure do hope to see you around turtie. It’s always nice to see you here and I am thankful to you for following me on other blogs as well.
@ Daniel : Thanks Daniel!
@ Jon : Blogging is fun and without your help I would have never realized that. I remember the growing pains and your words of wisdom that helped me get out of the blogging frustration.
Don’t worry. I know the address and I will keep bugging you. You know it
Ritu,
Hope everything works out well for you.

Hey Ritu,
you know one door closes and another one opens. I wish you the best!

So sad to hear this mate, as they say “all good things come to an end”, but that doesn’t mean they don’t come back up again. I sure hope you will be back up and everything will be fine for you. Needless to say I always enjoyed your writings and would love to stay in touch with you.
Take care and GOD bless. Keep in touch.
Robin
Good luck with the sale Ritu — anyone would be lucky to have this blog :-).

But all the best with whatever you pursue in the future!
Don
@ Don : You can still find me writing on other blogs and I do have a portfolio site coming up where I will be writing as well
I am glad you enjoy Work N Play.
Now. Should I continue to subscribe to your FEED?
Wish you the best!
@ Terence : You never know who is going to buy the blog. Besides, I haven’t sold it yet
Sorry to hear about your family emergency — I wish you the best getting through it.
Going to miss stopping in to see what’s cooking over here, but will certainly stick around to give the next owner a chance — hopefully they carry on with a bit of the spirit that you created here.
.. and I’m glad to hear that there’s still a shot of catching you guestposting in one of the other feeds I’ve subscribed to.
So sorry to see you go. But will continue to look forward to your articles on FreelanceFolder.
best wishes Ritu. I look forward to your next blogging endeavor.
Looks like a great opportunity for you. Congratulations.
Ritu,
I’ve been a big fan of this sight in the short time that it’s been up, and I’m sorry to hear that it is going to be going away.
However, by focusing on the most important things in your life, you will find success no matter where you go or what you end up doing.
Very glad to hear that we’ll still have access to your writing via other sites!
May God bless you and make you even stronger as you deal with these family emergencies. You’ve been an inspiration to many and we are thankful for you in that regard.
Good luck!
Everyone of us always know what the best for us, for that there is nothing anyone can do, so I am sure you know what is best for you..
I wish you the best of lucks in any endeavour you decide to take
GS
Good luck on your sale Ritu. You’ll still be around BC/Digg to send me stuff to read though won’t ya? =)
Ritu, despite the short time, you’ve created a bang for WorkNPlay.net and I’m sure the person taking over will have a great foundation, and a solid working relationship with yourself and the network you bring along.
Continue to be an inspiration in the blogs you’ll be writing for. I’m definitely sure you will! And I can’t wait to see your portfolio site too
Cheers,
Ellesse
Thank you all for your concern and best wishes!
I truly appreciate it!
Hope you can overcome your problems. The current bid of 500$ is ridiculous btw.
It’s an established blog it’s worth more around 2.5 to 5k I guess.
@ Tad : Thank you!
I just started the auction so will see how it goes. I am glad that you think the blog is worth that much. But again the true worth of this blog are the readers, like you
I could see you have been working very hard on this, Ritu. Whoever gets this blog will have a very good foundation. Good luck and I hope everything works out for the best!
Hope everything works out for you Ritu… all the best for the sale!
You will be missed.
Wishing you good things Ritu, that the family emergency is not too hard on you, and I hope to see you in some of our favorite places soon.
