Well, it’s time for some play here at Work N Play. I have been trying to come up with games every once in a while but at times my mind just seems to shut when it comes to coming up with something creative. Well, I try!
I am not sure how this game will come across but just bare with me as I tried. When I was setting my 2008 blogging goals, one thing I had in mind was to help out other bloggers while learning from them. Well, that’s exactly what we will try and do in this game. Whether we have 10 readers or 50,000 we have all gained knowledge about blogging in some way or the other. And we all have something that might be valuable for somebody else.

Sounds cool huh! Anyways, here are the details on how this game will be played.

A – Always end your post asking readers to participate.

B - Be diligent about posting on a regular basis.
C - Care about your audience. You can blog all day, every day (blah, blah, blah), but if your audience doesn’t get some value from what you write, you are wasting your time and theirs.
D - Don’t obsess about stats or money. Let it breathe. In the long run, quality will be rewarded.
E - Engage and interact with your readers.
F: Follow through with your Goals for the Year…
G - Get passionate about what you’re writing. If you’re not, your content shows. And that be the worse publicity ever!
H - Help others when you can
I - Immerse yourself in the community.
J - Join other bloggers to build and enrich the blogging community.
K - Kill the distractions and focus on creating highly useful content
L - Longevity is key, you will not become a A-lister overnight it takes time, patience and great writing.

U - Uhhh, when you’re stuck, do other things to get a fresh perspective. The chances of you coming up with anything new is slim with millions of blogs out there. Incorporate something else into an old idea!
