Wireless internet has become an integral part in all of our personal lives. But it has proven to be one of the most efficient ways for goverment to deal with catastrophes such as the collapse of I-35 W bridge in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

The Wi-Fi network in Minneapolis had been completed only two months ago before the bridge collapsed. Although in its infancy this Wi-Fi network has enabled the city with communication and moving large file to the recovery site as well as installing wireless cameras all over so as to get a better view of the site. Wi-Fi certainly has proven to be an effective measure of the government to take action during times of crisis.
