How To Write An Effective Post - A Simple Guide
Hi! It seems you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting! Feel free to leave comments on posts!
“Ahh! This post is going to gain some attention ’cause it is such an informative post.”
The above sentence might be something you think of when you come up with a great idea or subject that you want to write about on your blog. The post might be very informative but at times how you present it matters a lot when it comes to persuading others to believe in the information you are providing.
There are six steps I find very important to make a post effective and to support your subject or idea while writing,
To give you a detailed example on how we can use these six steps I am going to write about TNX which I have found pretty useful when it comes to earning money online. Let’s start,
___________________________________________________________________________
A Post Using The Above Mentioned Approach
Example
You guys are going to love TNX. This service is one of the best when it comes to making money by selling text links. Although it hasn’t been around for very long, their rapid success in gaining more and more members is a proof that the service might be something that everyone trying to make money online should try.
Explanation
TNX is a text selling service that is benefecial for both text link buyers and sellers. One thing that really sets TNX apart from other services is you can sell text links on each page of your blog rather than a site wide link. Keep in mind, each post on your blog is a separate page so you can imagaine the income you can earn by selling text links on each page. The maximum number of text links you can sell on each page is 4 and the minimum is 1.
Buyers can buy text links on your blog for a certain number of points. What do you do with these points? These points can in turn be used to buy text link for yourself or sell it to other TNX members or TNX itself. The current selling rate for each 1000 points is $0.70 but the price keeps rising as they get more and more members. This is one of the best text selling services I have found so far and the fact that it is starting to make me money is something that has reassured my confidence towards TNX.
Statistics
I haven’t been using TNX for long. Most of my points have come from my referrals and I have sold about 64 links. TNX has indexed about 602 pages on my blog. Imagine the money I can earn if I am able to sell 4 links on each page. That’s quite a bit of money. While writing this post TNX has 38,499 members and they have sold 30,879,591 links so far.
Testimony
This is what J. Angelo Racoma, the assistant editor of Blog Herald, a professional blogger, blog network manager and new media consultant who serves as editor in chief at Splashpress Media had to say about TNX
I think TNX is a great new hub for your text link ad needs and opportunities, catering well to both advertisers and webmasters. The use of TNX points instead of plain ol’ dollars makes things more flexible.
Comparison/Contrast
With Google tracking down bloggers who are selling text link ads on their blog using Text-Link-Ads ( TLA ), text link selling has become quite risky. On the FAQ page of TNX you can find this info ” There are no marks of any kind that would let search engines identify links sold or purchased through TNX. All links look like they were installed manually, so there is absolutely no way a search engine can identify your website is selling or purchasing links through the TNX system, ” which certainly makes it more favorable than TLA and other text link selling services.
Visual Aid
Here are some images for you to see which proves the fact that TNX is indeed turning out to be pretty useful service for me in terms of making money. Please note that I have been using TNX for only couple of weeks and have already sold about 30,000 points ( I signed up with them about month and a half ago but started using the service after seeing points I was accumulating through referrals ).

So what do you think of this approach to making a post more effective while giving more sources and information? I had been planning to write about TNX and thought I would do it in this way to provide as an example. Although this approach might not be suitable for every post, it can be quite effective while writing reviews and informational posts to support your views and ideas.
Personally, I think using these six steps gives the blogger an easier way to write while making the post more effective. And for the readers, it gives more information in a very easy way to understand and get the idea. What do you think of these steps and will you be trying TNX
? Share your thoughts!
P.S. I just looked into my entrecard account and the points are piling up. I barely even drop cards anymore! Anyways, I will be giving 250 entrecard credits to one of the commenters when the next post is published.

nicely done ritu, i am going to go check out TNX right now
Daniel,
Thanx! I wanted to write about TNX for a while so I thought I would cover two topics in one post.
I’ve always avoided text links (don’t know why) but now I”m starting to think it is worth more investigation…(I am obviously missing something good :))
Thanks Ritu!
Hey Ritu, great post! One thing though, is it about TNX or about helping bloggers write better posts? Cause you got both here, a good informative post about TNX and excellent information on formatting posts
In your post you said (wrote) ‘Although this approach might not be suitable for every post‘, I think you’re right, but the 6 points you mentionned at the top of your posts can definitely be used, and I’d say in almost every type of post, from a review post to a really conversational (meaning: asking questions and chatting with the readers) post. I usually use ‘Example, Explanation and Visual Aid’, I found this works best for me. Unless I’m writing a review.
As for TNX, I’m not sure I will. It looks promising so I might give it a try
Hahaha..Finally i learn something on how i can improve on my writing skills..!!
My post content, i don’t give much damn about it. I can put TESTIMONIALS on top, Statistics in the middle and explanations below. And sometimes, i don’t have any of them at all..!!
TNX? Hmm..Maybe i’ll check their site later.
Anyway, Thanks for the tips. At least, i learn something from you..
Lid,
I have had pretty goodluck with TNX so far. I have always been against selling text links using these kind of services but it is starting to make some money, so why not
Jon,
I am glad you enjoyed the post. Let me know if you decide to give TNX a try.
Jeremy,
No problem!
I like you personal hand writing in red. though!
I love your visuals! I am drawn in, and then I benefit from your suggestions.
Wow, Ritu!
That must have been one heck of a referral! This was a very informative post for me. Thank you.
Essie
